Special thanks to everyone who works with me on the Little Shops on Heart Street series: my amazing agent Jill Marsal; the entire dedicated team at Entangled, especially Candace, Liz, Heather, and Curtis; and last but certainly not least, cover designer Bree Archer for the festive cover.
The idea for the little shops was born from my own love of shopping in small, family-owned businesses and, in that way, supporting people’s dreams. These businesses often carry unique products and show attention to detail in every aspect, from the shop decorations to the expert advice. I loved creating fictional Wood Creek and its artisan shops on Heart Street, especially the cute chocolate shop and all the sweet treats Emma puts together. From the moment I pictured this snow-drizzled girl entering the chocolate shop with her special request, the story took off. I included some of my own wintery favorites—building snow dogs and visiting a Christmas fair full of sparkly booths, festive music and great food—and hope that all this seasonal cheer brings a smile to your face and the hope to your heart that, no matter what happens in life, good things are just around the corner.
Please return to Wood Creek for A Valentine’s Proposal, in which bookshop employee Cleo Davis agrees to a daring wager with the shop’s new owner to stop him from changing everything about it, but falling in love with her boss may prove to be the greatest challenge of all. Happy reading!
About the Author
With the same trademark atmospheric settings, relatable characters and cute canines that made several of her cozy mysteries #1 Amazon US and Canada bestsellers in multiple categories, Vivian Conroy pens romance as Viv Royce, creating the little shops on Heart Street she herself would like to frequent to stock up on bonbons, books and cute home decorations. When not hanging out in fictional worlds, she likes to hike, craft and spend too much time on Twitter where readers can connect via @VivWrites.

a novel by Kyra Jacobs
The last thing soccer player Scott Gillie wants or needs is a persistent and entirely too distracting PA while he’s recuperating in his small hometown. Unfortunately, it’s not up to him. Then Felicity and her son end up temporarily moving in—all thanks to his meddlesome grandmother. Now temptation is right across the hall and it’s driving Scott crazy. His only option is to fight fire with fire. He never expects Felicity to do the same.
Catching Her Heart
a For the Love of the Game novel by Jody Holford
Sure, Addison Carlyle may have kinda maybe kidnapped one of her professional baseball players, but it’s for a really good cause. She desperately needs someone high-profile to auction off for the multiple sclerosis society she’s chairing, but Sawyer McBain insists he wants a favor in return. Soon Addie and Sawyer are trading completely ridiculous I.O.U.s, like being his plus-one to his grandmother’s poker game or keeping each other company at the driving range. But when their agreement goes from flirty to fiery, neither is ready to let their guard down for a shot at love.
Unexpectedly Yours
a novel by Coleen Kwan
Derek Carmichael has harbored a secret crush on his best friend’s older sister for years, but Hannah has always been out of his reach. She and Derek may be becoming parents together, but that’s no basis for a happily-ever-after.
